The Enigma Nexus

In a story about humanities relationship with technology, six astronauts deal with a future Earth in different ways.

Humanity collaborated in environmental restoration, yet food security inexplicably diminishes, and war blights 2050’s Earth. Hoping to give their people a better future, six astronauts embark on a covert mission. Looping around the solar system, they return to Earth in the year 2457 where a shocking discovery awaits them. As the crew attempt to navigate the complexities of an inscrutable world, nearby inhabitants appear to be assisting but continually confound their mission. The team are certain that the populace harbour secrets. To add to their grief, the astronauts must deal with corporate subterfuge and a spy amongst their team. Will they succeed in time and save humanity from itself… or is their faith in their expedition misplaced?

The challenges of 2457 force each team member to confront personal struggles, as humankind's evolving relationship with technology weaves through The Enigma Nexus.

The Rivers Divide

A team of voyagers must adapt to a new culture. How much of who they are will they have to change to adapt?

Following their astonishing discoveries the astronauts split into two teams, both embarking on precarious missions.

Bending the known laws of physics, one team risks everything to expand their knowledge of the universe. Meanwhile the alternate team face being excluded from a situation that may fundamentally change the foreign world they inhabit.

Touching down on a distant world, the astronauts must negotiate treacherous inhabitants as they endeavour to work with the alternate team to resolve a problem that has implications neither team fully comprehend.

In the race to fulfil their missions, what lies behind a young man’s testimony? In a time- sensitive game of wits and trust can the two teams resolve the turmoil on their world before it spirals out-of-control? If the teams can ever settle down, what society will they be left with?
